When your alarm won't shut up...

I had a dream that my cellphone won't shut up.

The alarm went off and even though I pressed "dismiss" it wouldn't turn off.
So it kept going. And going.
And ringing. And ringing.

Finally it got to me.
I punched the OFF button. It didn't turn off.
I took out the battery.
It kept ringing.

I threw the cellphone into the wall.
It kept ringing.

I was getting frustrated and annoyed and angry.

I woke up, only to realize that my alarm had been going off for the last 30 minutes, and that I was late for my adviser appointment.

A dead man in my bathroom

I was in another dorm. Again. Every dream, different dorms.
A room and a bathroom. The shower stall had curtains. I opened the curtains, and there was a body of a man, naked, dead, scratched up and bubbled. I screamed and ran downstairs with the girls I was with.

I was thrown into a blow-up pool. It was 12-feet deep, and the water flowed in a circle, like a whirlpool.
Every chance I got, I grabbed onto the side handles and deflated it.
Little by little.
Then I would be swept away by the waters.
I dove and when I tried to come back up, a hand would be there, preventing me from going out.
Preventing me from breathing.
I choked.

There was a scandal. Corruption within the youth.
People started sexual activities at a young age.
4th grade, the girls were giving the boys blow jobs.
I was shocked.
I did the only sane thing.
I pushed all of them off each other and prevented them from getting close.
Those elementary school kids are more determined than possible, but so was I.

I came back to my dorm alone.
My dorm was quiet. The girls weren't with me anymore.
I peeped into the bathroom and I bent down to look under the curtains.
I saw feet.
I opened the curtains anyway.
The body was still there. Just standing, as if hanging.
He was looking at me.
My heart dropped.
I turned my body away from him, towards the door, but it moved too slow.
I reached for the door knob, but my arms were frozen in place. It was so rusty.
The door was too heavy.
I ran outside and ran down the stairs, screaming for help.

PARTY! in my dream

I think I'm nervous for the party tonight. I shouldn't be. I've been to numerous parties.

I dreamt about it.

I dreamt that we were late. It was raining, and we had to make a stop at a store to buy something. We waited outside while one person bought. There was another group of people waiting for someone else as well.

I then mentioned the party to my friends. The other group of people heard, and they came to me.

"You're going to the party too?" one of the guys asked.

"Mhm," I answered.

One of them was really cute. I've seen him before, I just don't remember where.

He sat next to me on a bench, and we started talking. He touched my legs gently. We continued talking.

My friend came out from the store. I stood up to leave. The cute guy looked disappointed, but I told him I'll see him at the party anyways. We said our byes, and we parted.

My friends and I never got to the party. We got lost in the rain. We parked somewhere and just hung out in a playground-like place.

There, I don't remember what happened.

The next thing I remember is driving his car around the parking lot for fun. It was a very expensive blue car. And I was not a good driver at all.

He freaked out and chased after the car. I giggled and laughed. It was too funny in my dream. I drove around and around, making him chase the car.

Finally, I stopped. He was out of breath when he opened the driver's door and nudged me to get out. I got out and he took the car and parked it and protected his car, making sure no one got to it.

People were smoking. Most of my friends in Albany smoke. I was used to it.

The rain turned black. I mentioned it. Somebody said it was chocolate. I giggled.

My dream, was not funny at all. I just kept laughing anyway.

The Perfect Dorm

My own home.

It was like a dorm, but not at all like one.
There were windows on top, and windows on the side. Even with the slightest angle of the sun, the room was dazzling. It felt like hot chocolate in the winter, and ice cream in the summer.
It was a very long room, with two beds and two desks. The bedsheets were there for us. The lamps were there for us. The room shone bright for us. Only if the room were real. It would be the perfect dorm, the perfect place to live, the perfect place to study, the perfect place to sleep, the perfect place to dream.

The gym.

It was the exact same gym I went to on Tuesday. The gym on State Quad.
But the equipments were piled on the side. The treadmills, the elliptical, the bikes.
I wanted to run, I wanted to bike, and I wanted to try the elliptical for the first time in my life.
I grabbed one of the elliptical machines and started working on it. But it was broken.
I grabbed one of the treadmills and started running on it, but its bottom was broken and it couldn't stand.
And I couldn't grab the bike, because suddenly, there was a flood of people. They all swarmed in and I was squished and pushed me.
Then there was water, and only the strongest of the people stood. It was me, my sister Sarah, her friend Michelle, and a few others I couldn't recognize. It didn't make sense because I believe Michelle is not strong at all.
Somehow, the water made everything so much more beautiful. Everything sparkled, just like the room before. A fountain was made in the middle of the room, and the sun came through and bounced on the surface of the water.
I, for an odd reason, still held onto a treadmill. I raised it above my head, so it wouldn't get wet.
Then Sarah attacked me. She tackled me. I almost lost my balance but gained it back.
Then Michelle and Sarah both tried tackling me, but I moved away faster than them.
And so the tackling and the running continued in the water. The fountain was still running. The surface of the water was still blinding.
And we were fighting for a treadmill.

The stealing.

Me, Warren, and a few more of us were dressed in black leather.
It was night, it was cold, and my heart was pumping. I was excited and nervous.
I don't remember how we did it, but we did it. We broke into a mega-mansion and became thieves.
And we stole a DVD-VCR player.
A freaking DVD player that we could have just bought from Best Buy.
But we stole it anyway.
And the alarm sounded.
I heard sirens and the wings of the helicopter starting. The sirens got closer, and the wings of the helicopter made wind.
We ran.
A group of us got into a car, and we threw the DVD player in with them.
Warren got into a motorcycle and circled around me. Another motorcycle started automatically, and started following Warren. I was supposed to chase it and ride it, but I just couldn't.
Warren and the empty motorcycle ran off without me, leaving me to the sirens that just came closer and closer.
I closed my eyes and envisioned myself catching up to the motorcycle and riding on it.
And when I opened my eyes, I was on the motorcycle.
We, a car and two motorcycles, sped along the winding paths of the mountain. The moon was full, and the night was chilly.
The chase had just begun.

The sirens got closer and the lights from the helicopter were just above us. Every time we sped up, they sped up as well.
It got dangerous when they took out their guns.
It wasn't just a game anymore.
They aimed for our feet. I managed to dodge all of them for the first few minutes.
Then they gave up. They aimed for our head.
Warren somehow pulled through and managed to disappear from sight.
I, on the other hand, began to slow down. My bike wasn't listening to me. It slowed down, and the cops caught up.
One of them aimed for my head.
I moved my head a little to the left, and the bullet scratched the right side of my head. I felt pain, and I touched my head. I was bleeding.
The cop must have been a new one, because he dropped his gun from shock and slowed down.
Warren came back and asked me if I was okay. I was alive at least.
The sirens were gone, and the lights from the helicopter weren't there anymore.
We continued riding through the winding road of the mountain.

I can read your mind

I don't want to forget this dream.

I flew again. For the first time after high school has ended. It felt so good, but different. It was as if I just learned how to fly, when in fact, I had flying my entire life.

So the dream started in Warren's house. It wasn't his house, but in my dream it was. We kissed and we hugged. I missed him so much.

I needed to go to the bathroom, so I started searching for it. It was a one floor house, but there were too many rooms. I opened up all of them to check which were the bathrooms. I found two in the end, but didn't go to either of them. I opened up a cabinet and found Warren hiding there. He cracked up and we both started laughing.

I asked him a question. He didn't answer, but he thought. And there, in front of me, were the subtitles to his mind. I read his mind.

He asked me a question. I didn't answer, but I thought. And there it was again, the subtitles to my mind. We were both able to see each other's thoughts.

Next is when I flew. Warren, his house, his sister, his parents, and everything I just had disappeared in the blink of an eye. Instead, I was in the sky, looking down into the smallest towns below.

And I mean small. Literally. They were tiny, tiny towns with tiny, tiny houses, and if I stepped on it, I would have ruined a city. And mind you, these houses and towns were floating on small pieces of rocks. I flew and dodged them because I didn't want to destroy the homes.

One rock of a town interested me. I went closer. It was hard to fly because I kept flying up when I wanted to stay. I kept falling down when I wanted to stay. It took me a while to get used to flying again.

I looked over the small town and found a tiny box. It was a very pretty box, with opals and diamonds decorating the surface. I opened it. There was a paper star I love to fold.

Just one.

I unraveled the paper star. Unraveled and unraveled.

There were writings on it. Letters I've never receieved, minds I have never read. They were to me. Some were written. Some were thoughts.

"I'm sorry" one of them read.
"I'm sorry I was so mean to you."

I kept reading. The letters and thoughts never ended.

But my dream did.
And that's all I remember.

Time Warps are Purple

I went to bed at 2 in the morning, but I couldn't go to sleep until 4am. I tossed around, looking up into the dark, bumpy, cheap, dorm room ceiling, not really thinking, but not really not thinking.

When I did go to sleep, I had one long funky dream.
And because it was so long, I don't remember the whole thing.

I was running around in a playground. Running, running. Going down the slide.

There was a weird purple time warp. All of us got sucked in. When we came back out, we were not ourselves anymore. I, for one, had bigger eyes, and my hair was a tint of purple. Others had a wooden leg, plumper lips, etc.

I didn't know who I was. I looked into the mirror and did not know I was looking into the mirror. I was prettier, but it was too strange.

Something else happened. But I don't know what. We traveled through another warp, but I don't know what we did during our travel. Something, just don't remember.

That's not it. But that's all I can remember.

I'm nervous, and it shows in my dream

My dream had no order, and it did not make sense.

1. My sister, Sarah, was a whore. She chased after big, tall, rich guys and got money out of them.

2. I had a dream my laptop was a folding laptop, kind of like a book.

3. My dad and I drove to college, but I realized I forgot everything (except one box) when I got there.

4. I thought I was awake, and my mom was yelling at me.

5. A really small puppy. Really small and really cute. It peed on my hand.

That must be it.

I also just found out that 2 of my roommates are juniors. I'm the only freshmen. She told me freshmen in that dorm building is rare, but sometimes they cram a few in, because they can't fit us all in the freshmen dorms. Fmylife.

Zombies and my 15-room House

There was a huge zombie outbreak, and I decided to turn my 15-room house into a sort of a hotel for some of my friends and people I knew.

Warren took the biggest room with a huge king sized bed and the large windows.

Phuong took a room in the basement for an odd reason.

And Warren's friend, who I don't even talk to, took a small room up in the ceiling. Yes, I had a room stuck on the ceiling.

There were too many things going on, so I don't remember all.

But one thing I remember is Warren's friend turning into a mouse and chewing a hole in my cupboard. I don't know why. And when he came back out, he was human again.

And there were people in my kitchen cooking food.

A part of my floor fell apart and there was this large empty hole. You had to jump or walk around it, because if you fell, you just didn't exist anymore.

When we went outside, there were so many freaking people. Bodies were pushing against bodies. It was hot and sweaty. You couldn't just walk. You had to walk with people. It was like a current.

They were giving out free paintball guns. As if they were going to protect us from Zombies. But we decided to go anyway. We ended up not getting them because there was a huge line for it. No, it wasn't a line. It was just a mass of people standing around, blocking our way to our paintball guns.

We went to ride a subway to escape. But the train was going in the wrong direction, so we decided not to get on. When the train left, there was only darkness. We didn't want to move.

And I really don't remember. So many things happened. It seemed like they all happened at the same time.

Girl with Kitchen Knife tried to Kill Me

There was a suicidal girl who was either going to jump, drown herself, or cut herself to death. She had long black hair and was wearing some kind of a traditional dress.

Kinda like a cross between this girl,

and this girl...

So anyway.

A group, of about 5 or 6 of us, were trying to get her to become sane again. She held a huge kitchen knife, and you could see it shine every time she fixed it against the sun in the right angle. It gave me the shivers. We kept talking to her, telling her to put the knife down, to talk to us about it, and that everything was going to be all right.

She was standing on the edge of the pool, and we could not get to her by walking around. She'd just inch away. So we just jumped into the pool and swam toward her.

And you know what? She jumped into the pool and swam toward us, her knife in hand.

My heart skipped a beat and I panicked. I was moving too slow. She was moving extraordinarily fast for someone who was in the water. She swung the knife anywhere and everywhere. She cut something. There was blood. The blood slowly dispersed into the pool water, and we were swimming in blood. There was more blood. There was a scream. I pushed and ran and swam. I had to get away from her. I had to avoid her. She was crazy. She had a knife. There was blood everywhere.

I escaped, and so did a few others.

I looked down at the pool. There was body parts and the clear water had turned into murky blood water. The girl stood on the other side of the pool. She still held her kitchen knife. She stared at us.

And at that point, I seriously did not care if she killed herself. I wished she killed herself. I would love to kill her myself.

But she walked away and I woke up. Thank god.

Long night of dreams

I had many dreams last night, but I only remember so much.

Warren kissed me in one of them, but I could not feel anything on my face. So I didn't know he kissed me until I had opened my eyes.

A black out.

I opened my eyes and I saw steam. I was in a locker room. I had been here before. Not in real life, but in another dream of mine. I had been here more than once.

(The locker rooms from my dream were a lot more brighter, and with much more steam and fog)

I walked around the locker room of the school I attended in my dreams. It was time to empty out our lockers, but I had not emptied mine out yet. I used two different lockers, because I insisted I needed that much room.

I opened both of the lockers and transferred everything into just one locker. I closed it, locked it.

I took a look around, and there was no one there. Just me and the steaming locker room.

Black out.

Dammit, I had another dream in my head a minute ago. I forgot as I was writing the sentence above. I'll get back to this...

EDIT.
I just remembered while watching Chihiro walk down the long flight of stairs in Spirited Away.

This is a dream:

A group of us had traveled to some kind of a world, a spirit world of s
ome sort. Our passports were dolls. They were blue. It acted sort of like a spirit holder, or some sort of a spirit transfer system. When we were at the end of our journey of a tour, we had to go back. All of us held our tiny blue voodoo dolls, and we were allowed to go on the bus. I was allowed. So I walked in, holding my blue doll.

But there were 4 of us who were denied of the passage. We held our dolls close to our heart, and in fear, for we might not be able to go back into our world. And despite the fact that I had already gone into the bus, my spirit had traveled into another body of mine. And in this body of mine, I was denied the passage.

We were forced to obtain different kinds of dolls. This time, they were orange. They were harder to obtain and also more illegal. Sadly, the bus had left without us.

We stood in the dark for some good time. We held our orange dolls, afraid of losing our only hope of going back.

I did not want to stand around and wait for chance. I threw the doll in my backpack, and I walked out. A guy and another girl decided to follow after me. I don't know what happened to the last girl.

I felt like I was going around in circles. I don't remember exactly where I was. I remember being high up, like on a hill. There was one lamp which provided light. It was also the only way of knowing I was going in circles. I also found a unicycle that I somehow knew how to ride.

So there I was, biking on my unicycle with two teenagers following after me. We neared a downhill bridge. We then spotted two kids, sulking in a corner around a bush. They looked lost and scared. We decided to take them with us, so we can get out of this world together.

So the guy took a boy, and the other girl took the girl. I continued unicycling.

Nearing the downhill bridge, I almost fell off. One side of the bridge did not have any sort of protection. No walls, no fences. If you walk over, you fall. I decided unicycling down a curvy hill would be a bad idea, so I abandoned the bike and joined others in walking.

(Imagine that, with one side being a 90 degree drop)

The bridge was slippery. We couldn't just walk. Our feet slipped and we lost balance. Many times, we knocked each other over trying to regain balance. So we decided to just slide down the whole thing on our butt. The kids enjoyed it. Personally, I was scared.

The guy slid down first, with the boy next to him.

I slid down next, by myself.

The girl could not slide down, so she just let go of the girl. And the girl slid, and gained speed as she did. I was on the bottom and by the time the little girl came sliding down, her speed was so fast, she knocked me off and I let out a tiny little Oomph.

It was still dark when we regained our balance and continued walking. I don't remember where we walked to. I don't even know if we made it out of the world.

Perhaps I'll still be in the world tonight.

If Things that make up my Life Disappeared

I recently had a dream that gave me shivers and goosebumps as I woke up. There weren't any scary, bloody little girls or zombies crawling to get to my brain.

It was simply this:

Things that existed in my life ceased to exist.

Just like that.

One by one, everything that made up my life started to disappear.
My pencil case disappeared.
My books disappeared.
My notebooks, backpack, laptop, desk.
My friends disappeared, as if they had never been born.
My family disappeared.
I was freaked out, because nobody else noticed it.

And then, I disappeared. I watched myself disappear. I became part of the air, and all I could do is watch everything else slowly continue to disappear.

Is this what happens when you graduate high school? Everything, everyone you knew - do they go away?

I was on Titanic!

I've been on that ship at least 3 times now. I don't know how I get in, but I always remember trying to get out.

The first time I tried to go up the main stairs, there was this maid on the side, smiling and cleaning, minding her own business. There was no water on the floor, and when I opened the door, I saw the sunlight, and I was out.

The second time I tried to get out, the maid lady stared at me and my group, and kept staring as we walked up the stairs. It's not like she was freaky or anything. She was a young and a pretty maid lady. It was just weird that she stared at us. And when we opened the door, we didn't see the sunlight. We saw another room. We had to walk around for hours before finding the exit.

This time, last night, my friends and I were in this glass room, and we were able to see below the ship. We saw the dance floor, dining rooms, marble stairs, all below us. They were frozen in time and filled with water. It was breath taking and heart wrenching at the same time.

It was time for us to go. We found the same stairs we had found the other 2 times. The maid was there, staring at us. This time, there was water crawling down the stairs. We panicked and ran up. The maid lady stared at us again. We opened the door, and with no surprise, found no sunlight. We were in another room.

But this time, we weren't able to walk around and find another exit. It was a small room. On one side, there were stairs but you couldn't see beyond the first step. Pitch black. On the other side, there was a small rectangular puncture on the bottom of the wall. I didn't even try to bend down and look at what was in it.

Then, one of my friends pointed at the rectangle in the wall and yelled something. I looked down. There were two hands trying to grab for our feet. I jumped up. We all yelled something. What the heck? What is that?

Oddly enough, I was not scared. I poked the hand with my finger. The hand tried slapping me away. I poked it again, and it tried slapping me again, annoyed. It was weird, but it was fun. I slapped the hand. The hand got frustrated and went back into the whole. We all laughed.

Then, we got up and turned toward the stairs because we saw someone coming towards us. It was one of our friends, but she was pale and she was showered in blood. She started attacking us with a hair brush. I obviously blocked the hair brush with my arms and said, "Ow." Then I kicked her down the stairs and she rolled down. She ran toward us again. I kicked her again. She ran. I kicked. And again and again. Soon enough, she got tired and stopped.

Out of nowhere, this old man came through the doors. We all froze and stared at him. He kept walking, straight to the wall. He disappeared through the wall.

What the heck just happened!? We all said. Then, we started to see it. There was a faint light coming through the walls. They were in the shapes of stairs. We nodded. I walked into the wall first.

I went straight through the wall and walked up the white stairs. At the top, there was a little light hole. I went in. And I was out. Sunlight.

Was this real?

I was sitting on the stairs in my house when Mom came into the living room with a gun in her hand. Dad, my two younger sisters and I froze because, well, Mom just came into the room with a gun. She was screaming and shouting something while waving the gun around in the air. She then pointed the gun at me and my 16 year old sister. I froze. Click bang. She shot my sister in the head. Blood spurted everywhere. I couldn't even cry because it was such a shock. Mom had lost her mind.

She then pointed the gun at Dad and started screaming again. He kept trying to block the gun out of the way, but Mom was stronger. She pointed the gun straight to his head and literally blew his brains out. I was perspiring and my lips were quivering. My muscles froze and my heart stopped. What do I do? What do I do?

Mom looked at me and my youngest sister with crazed eyes that told me she had gone insane. She glared at us. Miraculously, she walked away from the living room and buried herself in her room, leaving me and my sister safe. Alone with the dead bodies.

Should I clean up the bodies? There are brain parts everywhere. What do I do with those? How do I protect my sister? Should I tell anyone? Will Mom run after me if I walk outside? Why did she shoot us?

I was scared she was going to go berserk again when the night came. I walked in circles, trying to think of what to do next. In the end, I decided to run away with my sister. I couldn't leave her. She was 8 years old. She deserves better than that.

So the night came. I wrapped my sister in blankets and carried her out. For some odd reason, carrying her in a blanket somehow seemed safer. I opened the door as quietly as I could. It still made the stupid creaky metal noise.

I took off. I never looked back, and with my sister in my arms, I darted past the darkness.

I don't remember where I went. All I remember is a small glass house I lived in with my sister. It was always sunny and bright. And I do remember my mom discovering us later on, but I don't know what happened after that.

I woke up at 4 o'clock in the morning because of this dream. Maybe the thought of the AP Calculus Exam was haunting me.

And I'm really hoping this website doesn't die, even after 20 years.
